This
letter is being written regarding the Watermill restaurant
and two very special people who are in your employ.
Last
year on this date, my husband and I were married and
had our reception at the Watermill. One year prior
we went to quite a few establishments searching for
"the one". This being a second marriage
for both of us, we very much wanted class and elegance-but
definitely not a "snobbish" atmosphere.
As
soon as we entered your beautiful facility, we knew
we had found what we were looking for. What we didn't
expect to find were the most pleasant, warm, personable
staff we had ever encountered. As soon as we met Tom
Lauterborn and Anna Cameron, the decision was made.
This is where we
wanted to be.
As
you well know, Mr. Scotto, any business is just a
business-it's the special people who work with you
that make it a success. Tom and Anna do just that
and more. They both have the personalities and genuine
warmth that make your customers "feel" welcomed
and special. Many places can serve great food or be
decorated beautifully-but it's those we come in contact
with who represent the facility that keeps us returning
and recommending it to others.
Yesterday
afternoon we returned for our one-year anniversary
and when we saw Anna and Tom it was like seeing old
friends. They were very busy overseeing all that was
going on but they "made" a few minutes to
sit and chat with us and make us feel like we were
the only couple that ever had a reception there!
This
letter is to thank you for having Tom and Anna at
the Watermill. I know for a fact that our wedding
would never have been as special if not for these
two people, and we continually recommend the Watermill
to all who are looking for a unique place to host
an affair. What truly is unique - is your staff!

We
just wanted to say thank you for all your help. I
was never "too" stressed over any of our
wedding plans. I felt like everything that had to
be done was taken care of or would be in a heartbeat,
if I had asked. You tracked me down no matter what
state I was in, half the time I didn't even know where
I was, but you still kept in touch and relieved a
lot of my anxieties about the "Big Day".
The
Watermill, along with you, made me feel like a princess,
the only princess in the world on and before October
arrived. Thank you so much for helping my family and
us make our "Big Day" completely unforgettable
and as close to a fairy tale as the real world can
get!
