This month Watermill Caterers is celebrating its 20th Anniversary!
In 1995, the Scotto Family, recognizing an opportunity and the potential there was in this landmark property, committed a large investment in time, money and expertise and transformed the Watermill into a magnificent one-of-the-kind event venue.
Clearly, Suffolk County was ready for the Scotto tradition of excellence that had been established in Nassau County. They were warmly welcomed by all who entrusted their special life events to their wonderful reputation. In these last 20 years, many have brought the most important people in their lives to share memorable celebrations of life and love.
Recently, the family has once again invested in a transformation of venue by updating the main lobby, restrooms, bridal suites, and ballrooms. Carpets have been replaced with stunning wood flooring, there is new furniture, wall hangings and new lighting fixtures, all contributing to a new, exciting look. With all these exciting changes, there is one constant. The goal is to provide a superior guest experience, where everyone is warmly welcomed and surrounded by old fashioned hospitality and the same award-winning cuisine with many new menu selections.
The Watermill is proud to turn dreams into memories. The first twenty years were amazing and everyone at Watermill is looking forward to serving Long Island families for many more years.
